Full slate of events set for 4th of July at Little Wall Lake
JEWELL - Area residents are invited to come help celebrate July 4 at Little Wall Lake at Jewell with food, music and fireworks! From July 3 through the 4, the Little Wall Lake area will host a Fourth of July event featuring boat parades, races, tournaments, and of course, good old fashioned fireworks.
The festivities will begin on, Friday, July 3 at the lake with free inflatable playgrounds for the kids from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Baithouse will be providing food and music during the party. A lighted boat parade will tour the lake, starting at the south side and the day will end with a fireworks display starting at dusk.
On Saturday, July 4, the party continues with a paddle boat race from 11 a.m. to noon and a volleyball tournament at noon. The Baithouse will host a Fish Iowa program from 1 p.m. to 2p.m. and a children's fishing contest from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. For any addition information, contact Mischelle Hardy at 515-290-0983
