Mini golf opens in WC

Webster City residents now have a new mini golf course asDave Briese, owner and operator of the Little Greenhouse, located at 1544 Second St., has been working on creating Breezy Hill Mini Golf, an 18-hole mini golf course outside their business. Although they are still working on the back nine holes, Briese decided to go ahead and open up the course, and those participating will play through the first nine holes twice, until the full course is complete.

"Basically we created this course in correlation with the greenhouse-to show off our locally grown plants in a fun and original way. Our original plan was to create a garden, but we decided to add on the golf course. We've been working on it ourselves, and we designed all the holes. We've received a lot of great comments, since there was once a mini golf course here before."

Breezy Hill Mini Golf is open 11-7 weekdays and 11-5 on Saturdays and Sundays. The cost is $4 for adults and $2 for kids. Any questions can be directed to The Little Greenhouse at 515-832-4070.
