A new home-based business, Angie's Book Shop, has recently started up in Webster City. Angie Martin-Schwarze, owner/operator, recently became an educational consultant with Usborne Books, and is now selling high-quality children's books. Anyone interested in shopping, including individuals, schools, libraries and organizations may purchase books through home shows, personal shopping, book fairs, community events, fundraisers, internet sales and more. Martin-Schwarze states that Usborne Books are entertaining and educational children's books designed to help make reading and learning fun and successful. With over 1500 titles ranging from baby board books to internet-linked reference books, she will have something for all ages and interests.

Martin-Schwarze will be hosting an open house at her home, 1030 Webster St., on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Everyone is welcome to browse and shop, special discounts will be available and treats will be served.
