Van Hauen joins Maschhoffs

January 30, 2008
The Daily Freeman Journal
The Maschhoffs Inc. welcomed Troy Van Hauen in December as the Director of Human Resources. Van Hauen will be responsible for all Human Resources activities. He will focused on driving leadership development, talent acquisition and succession planning for the Maschhoffs. Troy and his wife, Michelle, are originally from Webster City.

Van Hauen’s leadership skill development started early with the mentoring and care of his parents, Lawrence and Sandy Van Hauen, who still reside in Webster City.

His experiences range from the family hog farm and construction business to serving as a military officer overseas and a practicing registered nurse (RN) in an occupational setting.

His HR career has taken him into progressively higher roles in the automotive, agricultural and manufacturing industries. Van Hauen lives with his wife and their three children in Edwardsville, IL.

The Maschhoffs Inc. manages one of the largest family-owned pork production networks in the U.S., operating in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

Offering the latest production technology, state-of-the-art animal nutrition programs, equipment and facility designs, and management practices, the Maschhoffs ensure the welfare of their animals and the environment.

Together with their Production Partners, the Maschhoffs have become a leader in the pork industry, producing more than two million pigs per year, or enough to feed more than seven million consumers annually.
