PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh police have identified and planned to interview a man seen on transit bus video who they've previously said could be a key witness — but is not a suspect — in the slaying of two sisters related to an Iowa lawmaker.
Police aren't releasing the man's name, or saying why they believe he may have helpful information about the slayings of Sarah and Susan Wolfe. They were found dead in the home they shared Feb. 7.
Police on Monday released bus surveillance photos of the man from the evening before the women were found dead.
The sisters were found dead of single gunshot wounds to their heads and there was no sign of forced entry into the home.
Their sister, Mary Wolfe, is a Democratic state representative from Clinton, Iowa.
