Car show a success thanks to exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers
To the Editor: The Third Annual Webster City Car Show is in the book. Forty-five owners brought their cars for viewing and voting by the general public. Once again there were literally hundreds of persons downtown on Saturday for the car show, art show and Crazy Days sidewalk sales. Thanks to all of the art/car buffs who joined in making the Third Annual Webster City Car Show a success. I wish to personally thank the volunteers without whom the show would not have happened. First, a very huge thank you to Greg Malmstrom, Terry Johnston and Greg Philbrook for their help, support and ideas and a host of activities during the day. Thanks to Matt Mattison for being our DJ. Thanks also to Jan and Lanny for providing the barricades and traffic cones that enabled a safer show. Thank you's to the trophy sponsors: MotorInn of Webster City, LLC, Carstens Auto body and Customs, Marty's Auto Body, and Doolittle Oil Company.
