The 11th annual Hamilton County Relay For Life is coming to Webster City. The event will be from 6 p.m. Friday July 17 to 8 a.m. Saturday July 18 at the Webster City High School's Bob Buckley Track. "We just want people to come out and join in the fight! It is a family event with something for everyone!" said Hamilton County Chairperson Lynn Burroughs. The event is a fundraiser with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life is also a way to raise awareness of cancer and remembrance of cancer patients. The set up for the event will begin at 10 a.m. Friday with registration at 5 p.m. and opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. The laps will begin at 6:15 p.m. with the American Legion starting the laps.
