To the Editor:

On behalf of the noon Webster City Rotary Club and the newly formed Rotary After Hours (RAH) Club we extend our sincere thank you to the community and the area residents for their unfailing support for the 37th annual fall tradition the Rotary Turkey Dinner held Sunday, Oct. 23.

This year as in our past endeavors, the proceeds from the event will all be used locally to support worthy local charitable concerns. Last year over $20,000 was donated by the noon club from our various projects to help fund twenty-one local projects covering a variety of causes and helping all age groups.

Rotary International wants to thank Boy Scout Troop 17 and Cub Scout Pack 583 and their leaders (both sponsored by local Rotary, the food service and custodial staff at Webster City High School and Trinity Lutheran and Faith Methodist for their assistance in making this year’s dinner a success.
