During her life, she was associated with The ARC in Des Moines for many years. After losing her parents, she lived at Exceptional Opportunities in Burt. When she needed more care, she moved to Crestview Nursing home in Webster City to be near family. Linda had wonderful care throughout her life.

She also was an Iowa Hawkeye fan. Linda had a great sense of humor, and always had a certain smirk on her face when she could best someone. She loved to tease people and loved being teased.
