Diana "DJ" Baker, 68, Webster City

Diana “DJ” Baker, 68, of Webster City, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Craig Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the funeral home.

Diana Le Jacobson, daughter of LeRoy and Lois Wells Jacobson, was born January 31, 1950 in Webster City. She was a 1968 graduate of Webster City High School and received a degree in Accounting from Iowa Central Community College. D.J. was united in marriage to Denny Baker on August 10, 1985 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2010. D.J. worked at the Daily Freeman Journal in the Advertising department, KQWC, Morts and most recently with Pro Farmer.

D.J. is survived by her sons, Travis (Stacy) Wearda of Duncombe, Tyler (Emily Abbott) Baker of Webster City; grandchildren, Alexis, Chase, Jordyn, Jayce and Avery; siblings, Denise (John) Allinson of Franklin, TN, Darwin (Phyllis) Jacobson of Woolstock; several nieces and nephews and many extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denny.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. D.J. enjoyed taking naps and loved wearing jewelry. She would be do anything for her kids and family and loved spending time with them.
