William (Bill) Campeau, 55, Webster City

William (Bill) James Campeau, 55, of Webster City, died on January 20, 2018. The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, January 28, from 1:00-3:30 PM at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) in Webster City, IA.

William was born on February 7, 1962, in Minneapolis, MN to Larry and Carol Ann (Mize) Campeau. Bill married Robin Schnell at her parents home in Minneapolis, MN on June 20, 1981. The couple raised their family in Minnesota until they moved in 1990. He was employed at Uncle Bee Bagel in Ellsworth. In 1998 he started working at Electrolux and was there until it closed in 2011. He then studied Automotive at Iowa Central Community College.

Bill enjoyed pencil drawing, collecting DVD movies, and listening to classic rock and roll. He was a devoted “PaPa” (grandfather) and enjoyed tormenting his children by playing Michael Bolten songs.

His family includes: wife of 36 years Robin; mother: Carol (Mike) Springer of Arizona; father Larry of Webster City; four children: Jason of Webster City, John of Webster City, Joseph (Stacie Joslin) of Urbandale, IA, and Jennifer (Kendall Keenan) Campeau of Webster City; six grandchildren: Jayden, Carter, Abel, Aiden, Siera, and Selena; brother Tom (Michelle) Springer of Farmington, MN and sisters: Penny (Patrick) Orio of Minnetonka, MN, and Theresa (Mark) Christian of Woolstock, IA. He was preceded in death by his three brothers: Bobby, Steve, and Jerry.
