Police Reports

A two vehicle accident occurred on June 24 at the intersection of Des Moines Street and Division Street. Linda C. Flett, Webster City, was traveling east. After coming to a stop at the stop sign, Flett entered the intersection without seeing Mason R. Lee, Webster City, coming from the south. Flett struck Lee’s vehicle just behind the driver’s door. There were no injuries. Flett’s vehicle sustained an estimated $800 in damage. Lee’s vehicle sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage.

On June 22 Artur Kryvorutski, Winnipeg, was traveling south on Prospect Street while trying to turn east into the South Alley. As Kryvorutski was executing the turn, the rear bumper of the trailer scraped the driver’s side of a 2001 Buick LeSabre. The LeSabre was legally parked and unoccupied at the time of the collision. There were no injuries. The LeSabre sustained an estimated $1,000 in damage.

Pedro Cedillo Lopez, 28, Webster City, was arrested on June 17 for driving while license suspended, failure to file an SR-22, and excessive speed.

A warrant was served to arrest Cody J. Peter, Webster City on June 15.

A warrant was served to arrest Shawn B Heidick-Keeling, Webster?City, on June 15.

Police Reports

Jarone A. McIntosh, Webster City, was arrested on June 11 for domestic abuse assault.

Jarone A. McIntosh, Webster City, was arrested on June 12 for violation of a no-contact order.

Johnie D. Harlen, Clarion, was arrested on June 13 for driving while license suspended.

Anthony W. Birkey, Webster City, was arrested on June 20 for harassment of a public officer.

Samantha M. Newman, Webster City, was turning right to go north bound on Beach Street from Ohio Street. A witness reportedly advised Newman lost control of the vehicle and hit a no parking/truck route sign. Newman left the scene. There were no injuries. Newman was issued a citation for failure to prove security against liability. Damage to the sign was about $50. Newman’s vehicle sustained about $200 in damage.

Police Reports

On June 14, the Webster City Police Department was dispatched to Kum & Go on Superior Street for an accident in the parking lot. Upon arrival, Officer Delaney spoke with the driver of a 1999 Ford F350 who reportedly stated she had parked her vehicle and gone inside the store. When she came back out she noticed the truck she had parked in front of backed into her truck. There was damage done to the passenger side rear door. Walter D. Hammitt, Webster City, did not have any damage to his vehicle. The driver of the Ford did not park in painted lines provided by Kum & Go and parked behind Hammitt, who was legally parked next to the building filling up his tires with air. There were no citations issued and no injuries reported. The Ford sustained an estimated $1,000 in damage.

A warrant to arrest Daniel Contreras Sanchez, Webster City, was served on June 12.

Police Reports

On June 14, Valorie L. Casbon, Webster City, was backing from a parking spot at the front of Casey’s General Store on Superior Street. At the same time Steve A. Proctor, Webster City, was backing from the fuel pump. Both vehicles collided in the parking lot. Proctor reportedly stated that another vehicle blocked his forward movement which required him to back up from the pump. Neither driver noticed the other before the accident. Casbon’s vehicle sustained an estimated $700.00 in minor damage. Proctor’s vehicle sustained an estimated $100.00 in minor damage.

Lisa A. Dorothy, Webster City, was arrested on June 13 for first degree theft and 12 counts of forgery. Dorothy forged multiple checks out and attempted to cash them out at First State Bank and Webster City Financial in the amount of $42,500.00.

A warrant was served to arrest Shawn G. Foster, Webster City, on June 9.

A warrant was served to arrest Kimberly A. Nuerhring, Webster City, on June 9.

A witness reportedly stated Nelson W. Cardoza Garsia, Webster City, hit a 2006 Pontiac Montana in the parking lot of 820 James St. on June 9. The witness stated that Cardoza Garsia left the scene of the accident. Cardoza Garsia was issued a citation for no insurance. The Pontiac sustained an estimated $700.00 in minor damage.

A warrant to arrest Jamie L. Johnson, Webster City, was served on June 7.

A warrant to arrest Scott R. Luke, Webster City, was served on June 6.

Police Reports

On June 12, a 2002 GMC Sierra was parked on the east side of Prospect Street when it was struck by an unknown vehicle sometime during the night. There was no debris or skidmarks on the roadway. No information was left by the other driver. The vehicle received an estimated $1,400 in damage.

On June 9, the Webster City Police Department was called to a deer versus car accident. Officer Adam Peterson arrived on scene and saw a vehicle driven by Kami J. Oberender, Jewell, with front passenger damage. The deer came from the east ditch heading west bound when the vehicle struck it. Oberender’s vehicle had a broken passenger side headlight, dented hood, and the fender had been broken. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,500.

Courtney A. Askvig, Webster City, was arrested on May 31 for 5th degree theft.

Dameon L. Luppes, Webster City, was arrested on May 30 for criminal mischief.

Pedro Lopez Cedillo, 28, Webster City, was arrested on May 30 for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Pedro Lopez Cedillo, 23, Webster City, was arrested on May 30 for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
