Nathaniel Samuel Ruiz was arrested Sept. 20 and charged with the following offenses: possession of marijuana, interference with official acts, driving while license suspended, disorderly conduct and violating a restraining order.

On Aug. 31, Alberto Lopez Vasquez was slowing down to turn into the entrance to Kum & Go. Roberto Carlos Castro was traveling East behind Vasquez and failed to brake as Vasquez slowed to make the turn. Vasquez was driving a Chevy Cobalt that sustained approximately $1,500 in minor damages. Castro was driving a Chevy Venture that sustained approximately $1,000 in minor damages.

No injuries were reported.

Police Report

On Aug. 20 a counterfeit bill was recovered from First State Bank, 505 Second St. According to reports, the bill was used at Fareway, 942 Second St. The counterfeit bill was sent to the Secret Service on August 21.

Pedro Lopez-Chavez was arrested for public intoxication on Aug. 22.

Colby B. Butz was arrested for public intoxication on Aug. 24.

On Aug. 28, Neal C. Anderson was driving a Ford F-150. A 2010 Chevy Impala was legally parked at the gas pump at the Kum & Go store at 1803 Superior St. in Webster City. At the same time, Anderson was backing out of a parking stall in front of the store. While backing out, Anderson collided with the Impala, causing minor damage. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision. Damages to the Impala were around $600. There was no damage to Anderson’s vehicle.
