Readers Theatre to meet Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Webster City Community Theatre Readers Theatre will meet Sunday, April 29 at 3 p.m. to read “The 39 Steps.” Note the time.
“The 39 Steps” was adapted by Patrick Barlow from the novel by John Buchan and from the 1935 movie by Alfred Hitchcock. The story line involves a mystery, spies, murder, humorous characters, a love story and an unexpected ending.
The play is being considered for a future production. Doug Getter will lead the reading.
