Big voter turnout in Hamilton County
Danielle Berglund, left, entering her voting form into the machine for her ballot to be tallied anonymously, with some assistance from poll volunteer, Lorene Burnett, at the Webster City Fire Station Tuesday night. The Fire Station was the polling site for the 1st Precinct for the City of Webster City on Election night. Sixty-four percent of the county’s registered voters turned out to cast ballots in the election. In fact, Kim Schaa, commissioner of elections, said she couldn’t remember another election with such a turn out.
