Hamilton County 4-H’ers take trips, attend camp

Fourteen youth from Hamilton County 4-H joined youth from eight other county 4-H programs for the 2018 Intermediate 4-H Discover Minnesota Trip. Intermediate 4-H’ers are 7th and 8th grade members. A total of 47 youth and six adults attended the trip that took place June 5 to 8. Over the course of the three-day trip, 4-H’ers were able to spend time exploring the Science Museum of Minnesota, attending a Minnesota Twins Major League Baseball Game, taking a scenic boat ride on the Mississippi River with Padelford Cruises, having hands-on experiences at the Microsoft Technology Center, working with small groups to master The Escape Game, and enjoying making memories with new friends at Valley Fair and the Mall of America. Hamilton County 4-H strives to provide a safe environment for all youth to have fun and educational opportunities within their clubs, communities, country, and world.
