Council to meet tonight

Public hearing to be held on Wilson Brewer Park project

A public hearing on the proposed plans, cost and form of contract for the 2018 Wilson Brewer Park Cabin Foundations project will be held this evening at 5:35 p.m.

The council may approve and confirm plans, specifications, and form of contract and estimate of cost for the 2018 Wilson Brewer Park Cabin Foundations project.

A resolution awarding the contract for the 2018 Wilson Brewer Cabin Foundations project may be approved.

A public hearing on the 2018-2019 Capital Improvement Budget and 2018-2019 through 2022-2023 Capital Improvement Plan will be held at 5:40 p.m.

The council may approve the 2018-2019 Capital Improvement Budget and 2018-2019 through 2022-2023 Capital Improvement Plan.

A third public hearing will be held at 5:45 p.m. concerning the proposed 2018-2019 budget.

The council may approve adopting, following the notice and hearing, the 2018-2019 Operating Budget and Certification of City Taxes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019 for the City of Webster City.

The first reading of a proposed ordinance amending animal protection and control may be approved.

The council will discuss options for the Superior Street and Fairmeadow Drive intersection.

A public hearing concerning the proposed plans and specifications and proposed form of contract and estimate of cost for the 2018 Beach Street Water Main Extension project may be set for Monday, April 2 at 5:35 p.m.

Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce Director Linda Christianson will give an update to the council tonight.

The council may accept the acquisition of property at 119 Prospect St.

A resolution authorizing the mayor and city clerk to enter into an agreement with Municipal Code Corporation (MuniCode), Tallahassee, FL, for recodification purposes, publication, web hosting and supplement services for the City of Webster City may be approved.

A resolution authorizing the mayor and city clerk to enter into an agreement for engineering services with P & E Engineering Co., Carlisle, for the electrical underground conversion project may be approved.

A resolution authorizing the mayor and city clerk to enter into an agreement with SportSites, Inc., Pleasant Grove, UT, for software and services in connection with registration payments for the recreation and public grounds department may be approved.

The next council meeting will be held on Monday, March 19 at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers.
