At Northeast Hamilton Elementary School Lynne Roberts fills her water bottle at the ElKay EZ H2O station. The school had the filtered water dispenser installed from the funds received for the school’s participation in the Iowa State University’s Wellness program in 2017. SWITCH is another ISU program that NEH will begin on Monday, Feb. 5. SWITCH stands for School Wellness Integration Targeting Child Health. The program aims to teach children to balance recreational technology with healthier choices. Students will learn about nutrition, limiting recreational technology screen time and taking part in physical activity.
