More snow for Hamilton County

Storm brings cancellations of activities

The anticipated snowfall caused a series of cancellations throughout the community including the postponement of Donkey Basketball from Thursday night to Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. The region is in a winter weather advisory through 9 a.m. this morning.

Winter precipitation has once again returned to the region in full force.

Hamilton County is under a Winter Storm Warning until 9 a.m. Friday with 4 to 6 inches of accumulation expected.

The City of Webster City has issued a snow emergency for 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9. All vehicles must be off the street by 8 a.m. Parking is not allowed on residential streets until both sides have been cleaned.

Due to the weather conditions, Fuller Hall closed early Thursday night at 6 p.m. Fuller Hall will open today at 6 a.m.

Donkey Basketball, which was scheduled for Thursday night, was postponed until Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. at Jeff Gym.

The cross country skiing and snow shoeing class at Briggs Woods Park for this Saturday, Feb. 10 has been cancelled.
