“It’s our annual tradition,” said Kendall Young Library Interim Director Ketta Lubberstedt-Arjes.

Kendall Young Library will be hosting their tenth annual Family Game Night Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Bring the whole family to spend quality time together.

“It’s just a good time to get together as a family and enjoy a night out that doesn’t cost anything,” said Lubberstedt-Arjes.

Families will be able to choose from a variety of board games and card games, or try out life-size versions of Candyland, Jenga and Connect 4. Or, bring your favorite board game along and share the fun with others.

“It’s a great time for everyone,” Lubberstedt-Arjes said. “It’s an activity that doesn’t cost anything.”

Activities will take place in the library’s lower level. Children 5th grade and younger must be accompanied by an adult or older family member.

Taco bags and cookies and refreshments will be served. The event and refreshments are free.

Lubberstedt-Arjes also thanked Hy-Vee, Fareway and Leon’s Pizza for their support of the event.
