Warwick to seek nomination
Employee of treasurerâ€™s office is second to seek the GOP?nod
Judy Warwick has announced that she will run for the Republican nomination for the office of Hamilton County Treasurer.
Warwick has been with the treasurer’s office since 1995 and has been the assistant treasurer for the past three years. Warwick said she enjoys serving the residents of Hamilton County and welcoming new people who move into the county.
She’s a lifelong Webster City resident and has been married to Bob Warwick for 38 years. They have raised two children in Webster City — son James Warwick, wife Cari and daughter Cami of Des Moines; daughter Dani and husband Dan Swith, children Riley and Jessica of Ankeny, granddaughter Jocee and husband Eric Lowe and daughter Kenadi, Story City.
Warwick attended Iowa Central Community College’s dental assistant program and was employed by Dr. Robery Golly as his office manager. When Golly retired and Dr. Greg Maharry purchased the practice, she stayed on for a combined total of 25 years in the dental profession.
She said her goal is to strive to provide courteous, knowledgeable and professional service to the residents of Hamilton County. Warwick said she welcomes questions concerning property tax collection, issuance of vehicle titles and registrations or drivers license issuance.
