Time to get your game on
Adults invited to event at KYL
Kendall Young Library will be hosting an Adult Game Night program on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“It’s something fun for community members to do indoors as the weather gets colder,” Interim Library Director Ketta Lubberstedt-Arjes.
Individuals can bring their favorite board or card game, or use games form the library’s collection. The library has an assortment of games including Yahtzee, Monopoly, Sequence, Settlers of Catan, chess, Munchkin, Ticket to Ride, Headbandz and more.
Light refreshments will be provided free of charge. This will include popcorn, bars, chips and dip and more. Pop will also be available. The free program will take place in the library meeting room.
“It just nice to have an activity to do during the weekday and relax,” Lubberstedt-Arjes said. “With the holidays coming up, it’s a good time to come and chill.”
For more information about the event, contact Lubberstedt-Arjes at (515) 832-9100.
The library will host two more game nights throughout the winter on Tuesday, Jan. 9, and Tuesday, Feb. 13.
