Fraud Fighters program comes to WC

Iowa Insurance Division, Office of Attorney General to present session Nov. 9

DES MOINES — The Iowa Insurance Division and the Office of the Iowa Attorney General will be presenting the Iowa Fraud Fighters Program at the Sampson Room at Fuller Hall Recreation Center on Thursday, Nov. 9.

First State Bank is sponsoring this event as part of the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce’s Educational Series. Doors open at 11:15 a.m. with the program starting at 11:30 a.m.

“We are pleased to bring our important fraud-prevention message to Webster City,” Deputy Commissioner Craig Goettsch said. “We hope this presentation will help educate Iowans on common scams and arm them with tools and tips to prevent and report fraud.”

This event includes a complimentary luncheon provided by the Lunchbox Market.
