New city vitality director named
Lindsay Henderson will begin duties on Nov. 1
Lindsay Henderson of Webster City has been hired to fill the role of community vitality director for the City of Webster City.
City officials said the position was created after relying in previous years on consultant relationships to assist the city with economic development initiatives. Henderson will be undertaking the City’s economic development efforts that foster business growth in the community in addition to carrying out initiatives that promote innovation, competitiveness, entrepreneurship, and enhance quality of life for Webster City residents
She joins the City of Webster City after several years at Iowa Central Community College where she most recently served as the Workforce Program Director. Henderson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Iowa State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Community Development at ISU.
