Lights, camera, action

–Daily Freeman-Journal photo by Adri Sietstra

Crew members involved in the making of “Mushtown” are seen above filming in one of Jerold and Arlene Chally’s barns outside of Stratford Monday afternoon. The crew braved the hot July heat well known to Iowa as they set up cameras and equipment in the hay mow. Filming began on the Chally’s farm on Sunday and will continue through Wednesday. The Chally’s farmplace was chosen for it’s beautiful and rustic look as well as it’s perfect look for the film’s direction.

Look for the full story on the makings of this production in Wednesday’s Daily Freeman-Journal.
