Plaque to be presented to Dr. Moriarty during regular meeting
A plaque will be presented to Dr. Leo Moriarty at tonight’s city council meeting at 5:30 p.m.
The council will observe a presentation by Iowa Area Development Group this evening.
A resolution to possibly approve the Fire Department Work agreement for 2017-2018 is on the agenda.
A resolution authorizing the mayor and city clerk to execute a Mutual Aid agreement with the city of Fort Dodge Fire Department is on the agenda for possible approval.
A motion to possibly approve the execution of a Hamilton County, Iowa-Marketing agreement with OHP Marketing Services, of Webster City, between the city of Webster City, Hamilton County, and Webster City Association of B&I is on the council agenda.
The first reading of a proposed ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances by amending Chapter 132 pertaining to building codes is on the agenda.
The council may make a motion to set the dates and times for the city-wide Cleanup-Drop-off Event. Proposed dates are Friday, June 9 from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday, June 10 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Webster City Middle School parking lot.
There is a motion on request from a production company to close a portion of the mid-600 block of Second Street twice while filming a documentary during the first week in May.
