City Council to appoint officers tonight
The City Council of Webster City will appoint a series of officers tonight at city hall at 5:30 p.m.
This will include the City Clerk, Deputy Clerk, City Attorney, North Iowa Municipal Electric Cooperative Association representative and alternative representative, Right To Know Coordinator, Greenbelt Advisory Commission representative, Hamilton County Resource Enhancement Committee representative, Hamilton County Civil Defense/Disaster Board representative, MIDAS Transportation Advisory Committee representative and alternate representative, Hamilton County Communication Service Advisory Board representative, Webster City Day Care board representative, and Riverview Early Childhood Center board representative.
The council may approve the appointment of one member to the Wilson Brewer Historic Park Committee as a county representative for the term ending May 31, 2021.
The council may also approve the appointment of one member to the Wilson Brewer Historic Park Committee for the term ending May 31, 2021.
The council may approve a resolution authorizing the mayor and city clerk to enter into an agreement with Robb’s Tree & Stump Service, of Story City, providing for the extension of the current tree stump removal services contract.
The first reading of a proposed ordinance amending speed regulations on East Second Street from Lyons Creek Bridge to the eastern city limits may be approved tonight.
Mayor John Hawkins will read a proclamation Monday evening commemorating the City of Webster City School Choice Week as Jan. 23-28.
