Six arrested on drug charges

The strong odor of marijuana lead police to a home on East Second Street and resulted in the arrest of six individuals.

On Monday, the Webster City Police Department received a call about the strong odor of marijuana coming from 1220 East Second Street, Lot No. 2. Officers who arrived on scene also detected the smell.

An investigation into the initial call for service led to a search warrant being applied for and granted for the property. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and five firearms.

Six people were taken into custody:

  • Bod Bunpan, 49 of Webster City – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor); Possession of Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor);

Khor Bunpan, 49 of Webster City -Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor); Possession of Methamphetamine (Serious Misdemeanor);

Manyvone Bunpan, 27 of Webster City – Possession of Marijuana (Serious Misdemeanor); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor); Interference with Official Acts (Simple Misdemeanor);

Nik Bunpan, 30 of Webster City – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor);

Suwan Chandee, 29 of Webster City – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)

Loson Savyan Pama, 30 of Webster City – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor)
