Talent showcase

Webster City’s Voice, Factor, Idol-Off – otherwise known as the high school variety show, was held at the Prem Sahai Auditorium Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The show featured songs from television music reality programs.

The variety show featured performances by all of the high school vocal groups, including the Purple and Gold Singers, the Bass Clef group, the Treble Clef ensemble, Motivation show choir, Music N’ Motion Show Choir, and Chordination acappella group. Selections included “Heartbeat Song,” “Fix You,” “Renegade,” “Demons,” “Shut Up and Dance With Me,” “I Lived,” “I Want It That Way,” “My Songs Know,” “Carry On My Wayward Son,” “I Lived,” “I Want It That Way,” “My Songs Know,” “Carry On My Wayward Son,” “One Step at a Time,” and “Cadillac Car.”

Each performance also featured several solo and small group acts. Josi Asklund, Morgan Auderer, Maia Jaycox and Lauren Leman served as the emcees for the production.

The production was under the director of instructors Andrew Wotherspoon and Cinnamon Kleeman.
