After the recent announcement that Webster City City Manager Ed Sadler will be leaving his position as of March 11, the city council will discuss the process by which they will fill the now open position tonight.
According to Mayor John Hawkins, one of the first steps taken will be to hire a headhunter to scout for potential candidates.

Shirley Helgevold, MIDAS Council of Governments on the City’s Community Development Block Grant Housing Program, will provide the council with an update.
A resolution to authorize the city of Webster City to apply for a $1,000,000 loan from the United States Department of Agricultural Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant Program is on the agenda for approval.
A resolution authorizing the mayor and city clerk to enter into a loan agreement for economic development with MaryAnn’s Specialty Foods in the amount of $500,000 from the Economic Development Revolving Fund is also on the agenda for approval.
