Hy-Vee honors Webster City employees for service milestones

WEST?DES?MOINES- More than 2,600 Hy-Vee Inc. employees will be honored this month for their years of providing helpful smiles and dedication to the company.

Each year, employees from across Hy-Vee’s eight-state region gather together at a series of Service Award Dinners, which celebrate employees’ career milestones in five-year increments, from five to 45 years and beyond.

These festivities have been a Hy-Vee tradition for more than 50 years. Attendees receive gifts and personal congratulations from top company executives, including Hy-Vee Chairman, CEO and President Randy Edeker, who poses for a commemorative photo with each Service Award recipient.

Then Webster City Hy-Vee has 18, 2016 Hy-Vee Service Award recipients. Those reaching service milestones this year are:

Kermit Luiken, 45 years (all served at the Webster City location)

Tim Valley, 43 years (all served at the Webster City location)

Roger Ratcliff, 41 years (all served at the Webster City location)

Tom Gard, 35 years

Dave Durivage, 30 years

Chris McKenzie, 29 years (all served at the Webster City location)

Shelby Shehorn, 26 years

Troy Dorothy, 24 years

Kim Stoakes, 15 years

Dawn Durviage, 10 years

Nicole Bryant, 10 years

Maraha Weinzetl, 5 years

Olena Northrop, 5 years

Kent Hollander, 5 years

Judy Harrenstein, 5 years

Lisa Brim, 5 years

The Webster City location has been serving customer since 1967.
