Micaela and Heath Moenck

Micaela Anderson and Heath Moenck, of Indianola were united in marriage on July 29, 2017 in Indianola, at Smith Chapel on the campus of Simpson College.

The bride’s parents are Dan and Kris Anderson, or Norfolk, Nebraska. The groom’s parents are Gary and Linda Moenck, of Webster City. The Rev. Ben Segebart officiated the ceremony.

Matrons of honor were Meagan Priebe and Molly Plasencia, both sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Haley Mattison, Liz Sudbeck, Jessi Skoglund, Kayla Weidner, Traci Fransen, all friends of the bride, and Heidi Barrick, sister of the groom.

Best men were Nathan Moenck and Ryan Moenck, both brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Alex Cross, Andrew Napier, Jake Johnson, Jake Berns, Cal Busby, all friends of the groom, and Travis Barrick, brother-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Scott Janson, Eric MacTaggart, Bryan Geelan, Jason Uhlenhake, and Nate Hanson, friends of the couple.

Grandparents of the bride attending were Barb Anderson and Harold and Marilee Peterson.

A reception was held at the Holiday Inn Northwest in Des Moines.

The bride is an elementary teacher in Carlisle and the groom is a cross country and track coach at Simpson College Indianola,
