FB, members to collect school supplies

Hamilton County Farm Bureau is working with their members to collect new school supplies to donate to the Hamilton county schools.

They are asking for everyone’s help with donations. The School Supply Drive will be held July 31 to Aug. 20, 2018. Donations can be dropped off at the county Farm Bureau office during business hours Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“HCFB wants to help the schools get supplies for the kids and the teachers classrooms. They know that school supplies can be expensive, especially if a family has multiple children. The schools always need the extra supplies and are unable to get more,” said Brian Young, president of Hamilton County Farm Bureau Board of Directors.

Every donation helps. You can find the school supply lists on each of the school’s websites plus you are able to find the lists in stores where school supplies are sold. Please donate new items only.
