Benefit dinner for Ambrose is Sunday

A baked potato dinner to benefit Tami Ambrose, who was diagnosed with untreated cushing’s disease, will be held on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City.

The dinner will include a baked potato bar, salad, bars, coffee and lemonade. Freewill donations will be accepted. A bake sale will also be held. Thrivent Hamilton County Chapter 31144 has applied for matching funds up to $3,000.

Tami Ambrose is a self-employed single mom with two sons who has not been able to work since her February diagnosis. She has had one surgery related to the disease and is facing two more, according to a flyer provided by dinner organizers.
