AARP Iowa to host tele-town hall

Financial reality in retirement is the topic of a free one-hour program offered by AARP-Iowa on Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. Offered through AARP’s “TeleTown Hall” meeting format, via teleconference and web streaming, the program is available from the comfort of your own home.

Nationally-known experts featured during the session include Kerry Hannon, AARP Jobs Expert, and Don Blandin, President and CEO of the Investor Protection Trust and Investor Protection Institute. The event will be moderated by AARP Iowa State Director Kent Sovern.

To participate in Teletown Hall events, AARP members receive a phone call inviting them to the event around the start time.

Non-members of AARP are also encouraged to participate through web streaming. Pre-registration is required. Go to http://goo.gl/vVrcFR to pre-register.
